I pay my deepest respects to the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation whose land I reside upon, the neighbouring Boon Wurrung people whose lands I traverse and all Kulin mob, as well as those of Yuin and Eora Nations, the lands where I was raised.

I pay my respects to the First Nations peoples across this land, who are the true and rightful custodians of land, spirit, knowledge, culture, lore and story across their country.

I pay respects to those who have come before, those who are now and those who will follow after. To ancestors and elders, and all sacred spirit among us. I acknowledge the strength and resilience of First Nations peoples in the face of relentless genocidal action against their people, land and culture, and offer my attempts towards solidarity. Treaties were not signed and sovereignty was never ceded.

Always was, always will be Aboroginal and Torres Strait Islander land.
