FAMILI is a collab of Pasifika and First Nations communities highlighting contemporary electronic music. Fresh hip hop, new wave R&B, Oceanic musicality, words, and movement. Focusing on Oceanic, LGBTQIA+ and diaspora experiences.
Curated by Ripley Kavara (aka Wahe), and featuring Lay the Mystic, Luscious, Kalala, Lonelspeck, Iki Finau, Bella Waru, Meleika Gesa, Fatafehi and Wahe. Kavara has been working with a suite of 20 musicians to produce inspired music. The Famili Launch event will include performances from the upcoming EP and celebrate featured artists. Ripley Kavara is a producer/vocalist born in Papua New Guinea and now based in Melbourne.
